I love the mantel. I don’t have a mantel. I’m deprived. If I won an Oscar, I wouldn’t have a mantel on which to display it. I guess if I were nominated for an Oscar, I’d have to have a mantel installed just in case I won.

Yes, it’s gloomy and cold around our house too. I still have a string of lights around our fireplace; I know Christmas is over, but the color helps brighten the gloomy days. Your tree was beautiful, and danger kitty is so cute too.
